Free concerts

Every Thursday, until the 18th of March, the "Conservatori Municipal de Barcelona" offer free concerts for all.
These concerts start every Thursday at 20hs and different musicions offer their musics to us with piano plays from Beethoven, duets or soprane-piano.
It's not possible to make a reservation for this event. So we recommend be there around 19:30hs or earlier to get the free tickets and assure a seat.
The "conservatori Municipal de Barcelona" is located in the Eixample district, in the Bruc street number 110 (in the corner with Valencia street). if you want more info, you can call at 0034 934584303 or by mail at conservatori@cmmb.cat

San Valentín and Snow in Barcelona

What a better combination than snow and valentines day! There is no doubt that a bit of snow makes the event more romantic than a typical rainy February day.
Although there was not much of it and in some places it stayed no more than 0,5 seconds, snow in Barcelona is a rarity and thus its a memorable moment. Maybe next year there will be more? Or should we all move Valentines day to the beginning of January?
We hope you have a hot Valentines day!

BBB - Jardinets and BBB-Güell in Barcelone city trip

We had a visit a few month ago of Sarah, which work for a guide in France: "Barcelona city trip by Petit Futé".
She has written this review in the French Guide about our Bed and Breakfast Jardinets and Güell:

Bus to Barcelona Airport

Barcelona has two busses that connect fast and easy with the Airport. The Barcelona Airport ("El Pratt") is located at 20km south of the city. As this airport has 2 separate terminals, there are two busses. Terminal T1 is recently opened and very modern while T2 was built for the Olympic Games of 1992.

You'll find these busses easily: The are bright-blue and stop directly outside their corresponding terminal. Both connect directly to the city center with only 3 stops: The first at Plaza España, the second at Plaza Universidad and finally at Plaza Cataluya just in front of the Corte Ingles.

The price for a one-way ticket is € 4,25 though you can also buy a two-way ticket for € 7,30. Please note that the two-way ticket is valid for no more than 8 days.

The busses leave every 10 minutes between 05:30 AM and 01:00 AM (just after midnight)
